About You
This is an opportunity for an experienced alarm installation/servicing technician to join their small tight knit and growing team in Auckland.
• The ideal candidate will have the ability to be cool under pressure and build solid relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• You should have proven ability in all aspects of servicing and installing of fire alarm systems, including addressable systems, gas flood systems, and aspirating systems.
• You’ll be a natural business relationship manager, and skilled communicator with a passion for outstanding customer service and day to day problem solving.
• Superior scheduling and time management skills are essential in order to ensure punctuality and effective use of company equipment and materials.
Skills and Experience Required
• 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• A high understanding of the relevant NZ Standards and NZ Building Code.
• A high standard of Health & Safety, Workmanship and Ethics.
• Efficient communication and computer skills.
• Excellent record keeping and report compilation skills.
• Work on call roster
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure that work carried out to the satisfaction of the customer and is of the highest quality in the industry.
• Estimate and action variations to work as necessary
• Build positive relationships with existing customers and actively promote the products and services of the company in the marketplace
