Company Profile
Our client is a medium sized NZ organisation with branches in Auckland and Hamilton specialising in the provision of telecommunications services including Civil lay and haul as well as data cabling services.

Role Profile
The heart of this position, which reports to the Traffic Manager is to provide traffic management support to ensure the delivery of effective temporary traffic management across their business.
This is a diverse, hands on role where you will need to be able to adapt to the fast-paced work environment and be able to make decisions for sound operational requirements, safety of their civil staff, and external clients.
The organisation is based in Onehunga and will report to the Onehunga Branch Manager but will require on-site work in the Auckland region.

• Is Health & Safety orientated and dedicated to working safely so that everyone gets to go home safely to their families at the end of the day
• Isn’t afraid to speak up when something isn’t right.
• Works and plans closures as required with Civil Manager consulting on what is required to ensure trucks are loaded correctly for deployment
• Follows and deploys TTM as per TMP and follows CoPTTM Standards
• Is courteous with auditors, clients, site visitors and members of the public taking pride in being their representative
• Aims for high standard SCR every time TTM is deployed
• Is flexible with possible away from home work

Experience and Skills Required
• A Level 2/3P STMS certificate or CAT A, B / C  with proven experience
• A full class 2 drivers licence
• The ability to read, understand and implement Traffic Management Plans
• Strong leadership skills
• Safety and quality focused
• A comprehensive understanding of CoPTTM
• Effective communication skills

Hours
• The company offers 40 hours per week – 4 x 10 hour days, Monday – Thursday however flexibility to undertake night and weekend duties is required
